Saptarsi briefed about general search algorithms , their philosophy and taxonomy
There was a discussion by Abriti and Sourav on their work on ML based Agri applications. One of the criticism
by the audience was robustness of image acquisition and actual implementation to benefit farmers, we intend
to submit a conference paper by 15th May
Allama updated about the FB App and we intend to close this by next 2 weeks
Abhra updated about the partial correlation based portfolio , we intend to submit a conference paper by 2
weeks
Sourav M's paper on relevant tweets , Saptarsi to complete in next 2 weeks
As per Dr. Soumya's suggestion, we will do the meetup on every second Saturday from now on.
Some ideas suggested were crowd based recommendation and food quality monitor

There was an at length discussion on security aspects of data science projects and may be we will invite someone expert from this domain
I tried to summarize some of the issues on linear regression, how t-test, p-value etc. plays a role and how linear regression can be extended by bringing nonlinear items and interactions.
Sourav updated on his work , on how he has improved class specific recall and precision by using SMOTE , then wordnet and feedback,
I request you to check the 30 odd ones , why they are still not getting identified
Abhra presented his work , on doing a correlation analysis for designing an optimal portfolio, There were some excellent suggestion from Dr. Sen on considering oil price , exchange price and some excellent suggestion from Mainak
As a next step we are planning to form at least three work groups in application of a ) ML in Agri b) Computer Vision c) No SQL

Computer Vision :-- Saptarsi to connect with Padanava and the CU students
Bio Informatics: - Dibendu to give a short presentation next meetup and then some small PoCs can be started.
No SQL : Abhi to deliver NO SQL Lecture and then help the students to POC on Mongo. Saptarsi to Co ordinate.
Stock Market: -- Abhra and Amit to formalize the problem statement. Ahsan can join. Padmanav to share his understanding on Hedge.
